A suspected human smuggling ring that would have brought several dozen Filipinos to Quebec was broken last week, according to a Philippines news site. Jennifer Bacus was arrested after police rescued 25 people in Davao City who had been promised jobs as bellboys, housekeepers and hotel receptionists.
