Main Ballroom of the John A. MacDonald Building

Dear Friends,As you know, the rise of precarious work in the Millennial generation is a growing crisis. We need to understand the problem and find solutions. That's why I would like to invite you to a Forum we are hosting entitled “The Precarious Generation: Millennials Fight Back” that will be taking place Wednesday, October 26th on Parliament Hill.
We’re proud to have Nora Loreto, a Quebec City activist and musician, as our keynote speaker for the upcoming event. She’ll be joined by amazing advocates, organizers, academics, and people with lived experience to understand what millennials experience across the country when it comes to working.
Artist Heryka Miranda, from St. Catharines, ON and Juan Luis Mendoza de la Cruz will be performing “The Sunflower Man” – about Juan’s journey as a migrant farm worker from Mexico. We’re excited they can share their story with us.
There’s opportunity in the crisis millennials are facing in this job market to propose a bold and progressive agenda – I hope you can join us in this important work.
In Solidarity,
Niki Ashton
