Background

The Migrant Justice Clinic (MJC) is a non-profit organization that was formed out of long-standing concerns about access to justice for precarious and non-status migrants in the province of Quebec, particularly in the Montreal area. The Provisional Board is working to establish a legal clinic with a holistic and united approach (legal and psychosocial representation and accompaniment, community organizing and collective advocacy). The mission of the MJC is person-based and community-based legal advocacy.
