What are the causes of displacement? War and occupation, climate change, and poverty are some reasons. Many displaced migrants seek to make a new home in places like Canada, and at the same time, Canada exists through the displacement and genocide of Indigenous peoples and theft of Indigenous lands. This workshop seeks to highlight, link, and overcome these inherent tensions.
