A4 WORKSHOP | ATELIER (Bilingual | Bilingue) Junior Ballroom D - Level 3 - North Tower | Niveau 3 - Tour NordThis workshop will address the norms applicable to temporary foreign workers and their rights at a federal level, as well as provincial examples drawn from employment labour standards in British Columbia and Quebec Charter Human Rights and Freedoms. It will also give an insight of farm workers’ lives through an analysis of their cultural, social and economic experiences during the duration of their contracts in Quebec.

Cet atelier analysera les droits et les normes applicables aux travailleurs étrangers temporaires au niveau fédéral de même qu’au niveau provincial, à travers l’exemple des normes relatives au travail en Colombie-Britannique ainsi que la Charte des droits et libertés de la personne au Québec. L’atelier analysera également l’identité des travailleurs agricoles migrants au Québec, à travers une illustration de leurs expériences culturelles, sociales et économiques pendant la durée de leur contrat.Organizer | Organisateur
