This interactive workshop will discuss the relationship between: a) root causes of migration, b) processes of ongoing colonization, and c) immigration policy changes through which migrants are becoming increasingly precarious in Canada. The goal is to determine how migrant communities and community organizers can work together to fight for increased access to all services (healthcare, social assistance and safe housing).
