Established in 1992, CDWCR is a community-based, non-profit organization that provides assistance to foreign domestic workers and caregivers in seeking improvements to their employment conditions and immigration status.

CDWCR is advocating that foreign workers who qualify under Canada's Live-in Caregiver Program be granted landed-immigrant status upon entry into Canada and that they be given an option to a live-out working arrangement.

CDWCR's mission is shaped by the belief that foreign domestic workers and caregivers deserve respect and recognition commensurate to the valuable service they provide and to their contribution to the betterment of Canadian society.
