Abstract

The case study of this paper focuses on DEAR Burma School which is a project of Thai Action Committee for Democracy in Burma (TACDB1). DEAR refers to Development of Education and Awareness of Refugees from Burma, and is a migrant school providing non-formal education to migrant workers particularly language skill training, English, Thai and other general knowledge concerning labor rights, migrant worker‘s rights, women rights, human rights as well as computer skill, and this project has been established since 2003.
