Actor Details

Christine Straehle a obtenu son doctorat en philosophie politique de l’université McGill. Elle était ensuite post-doctorante au Centre de Recherche en éthique (CRÉUM) et à la Chair en Droit international de migration (CDIM) de l’université de Montréal. Avant de se joindre à l’ÉSAPI, elle était professeure en éthique et philosophie sociale au département de philosophie de l’université du Québec à Montréal. Elle a aussi enseigné au département de philosophie de l’université de Lancaster, en Grande-Bretagne, et à l’université de Bonn, en Allemagne. Dans son premier projet de recherche actuel elle analyse les régimes des travailleurs temporaires, pendant qu’elle travaille aussi sur la question du genre et les politiques de l’immigration. Ses travaux ont été publiés dans des revues comme le European Journal of Philosophy, Contemporary Political Theory et le Journal canadien des sciences politiques.
