Graduate student in the Medical Anthropology Program at University of Toronto, doctoral research investigates the impact of seasonal labour migration on the health and well-being of migrant agricultural workers in Canada and their family members in Jamaica. Completed her Master's degree in the Anthropology of Health at McMaster University, which explored the mental health experiences of Jamaican migrant agricultural workers in Southern Ontario. Engaged with migrant agricultural workers in a volunteer and researcher capacity since 2014, primarily connecting workers with health care and social services, and assisting injured workers navigate the Ontario health care system.
